search menu main menu skip to primary content skip to secondary content home sample page of sexual harassment posted on june 14, 2016 by falseallegations 1 have become a great concern, the reason being that the stake are so high. the allegations have huge negative impact on the accused’s reputation. this is put on both parties, but many times only the name of the accused are put out in public, in order to protect the victim if the allegations are even partly true. when someone makes , many times they do not have an understanding of how much time, effort, and financial cost that they are going to face. many times, sexual harassment cases can take months to figure out. the problem with the term is that it doesn’t really work, and leads to many people misunderstanding what the term really means. allegations are a statement that there is a belief that something has wronged or harmed the victim. there is not true of , but those that have merit and those that do not have merit. the merit of an allegation is found when a proper investigation takes place. when sexual harassment is concerned, a false allegation is a complaint about a sexual harassment which did not occur. there may be or may not be malice behind the complaint. a fabricated story is treated as a false allegation. the problem lays with saying that all lies are , and not all are lies. in many cases, a real victim of sexual harassment may not disclose all the facts of the event due to shame, fear, and embarrassment, or they may simply try to forget the event ever happened. this can make the story less credible, but the allegations can still be true. the words unproven or unsubstantiated do not equal . there are cases where the investigation takes place, and for any number of reasons that are not clear to one side or the other, this means that case is not proven. this does not mean that the sexual harassment allegations were false. many times, these cases are investigated further if new information is found. most times, there is conduct that is inappropriate and unprofessional that is found in these cases, and those allegations that are acted upon are treated in the correct manner. many people have a misguided belief that if it sounds like a duck, and walks like a duck, means it’s a duck. well this works with a duck, it does not work with sexual harassment allegations. looking from the outside in, many cases can look like sexual harassment. however, just because the victim or reporter is making it sound like it was sexual harassment does not paint the whole picture. this is why all reported sexual harassment cases are looked at by an outside party, from all angles to find if the allegations have merit. many people want to jump to the judgement phrase, before all the facts are known. this jumping to judgement can shield the accuser, and attack the person that has been accused until the case has found out what really happen. even if the person accused is not guilty, they are never seen as the person they were before the allegations were made, and the accuser most times does not have anything done to them. more false accusers are being taken to court and losing the cases. posted in uncategorized | 1 reply welcome! welcome to your brand new blog! this is a sidebar and can be changed in widgets in your dashboard. you can also modify number of sidebars in theme options! search recent posts of sexual harassment recent comments edublogs on of sexual harassment archives june 2016 categories uncategorized meta register log in entries rss comments rss edublogs - free blogs for education edublogs default by edublogs powered by wordpress | hosted by edublogs | protected by cloudflare skip to toolbar edublogs home help and support the edublogger community get a blog! log in search
